Gionee Max Pro price in India, specifications, and Flipkart sale date have been announced. It is an entry-level device and is specced accordingly. Gionee says that the smartphone is tailor-made for “new-age gadget lovers”. The Gionee Pro Max’s launch was teased a few days ago on Flipkart. It is an incremental upgrade over its predecessor, the Gionee Max. Gionee Max Pro specifications include a 6.52-inch display, a large 6,000mAh battery, and a 13MP primary camera, among other things. Here’s a quick look at everything we know about the new Gionee smartphone.

Gionee Max Pro will be available for purchase via Flipkart starting on March 8th, at 12 PM. There is only one variant of the phone with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage and it retails at Rs. 6,999. Lastly, it comes in three colours options, namely Blue, Black, and Red.

The Gionee Max Pro features a 6.52-inch HD+ (720 x 1560 pixels) IPS LCD panel that is protected by a layer of 2.5D glass. Its 8MP selfie camera sits on a waterdrop-style notch at the centre of the screen. At the back, you get a dual-camera system that includes a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP bokeh lens. The smartphone is powered by a 6,000mAh battery via a micro USB port. There appears to be no form of biometric authentication on the Gionee Pro Max, which is a tad disappointing.
Under the hood, the Gionee Max Pro runs a Unisoc SC9863A SoC coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, which is further expandable via a micro SD card. The entry-level chipset performs more or less on par with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 but may not impress in graphics performance due to its dated PowerVR IMG 8322 GPU. Other Gionee Max specs include a 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It runs Android 10 out of the box customized with Gionee’s in-house OS.
