Smartphones launching in March 2021: Realme 8, Redmi Note 10, and more

A number of smartphones launched in February, from the Realme X7 series to the POCO M3 and Redmi K40 series. It looks like March is going to be busy as well as there are exciting phones that are both confirmed and expected to launch globally and in India. The list is pretty long and includes smartphones from Xiaomi, Realme, OnePlus, Samsung, Vivo, and OPPO. Phones like the Redmi Note 10 series, Realme GT, Samsung Galaxy A32, ASUS ROG Phone 5, Vivo S9, OnePlus 9 series, OPPO Find X3 series, and more are expected to launch in March 2021. Here are the top smartphones that are set to launch in March 2021.

Redmi Note 10 series

The much-anticipated Redmi Note 10 series is confirmed to launch in India on March 4th. The lineup is expected to include three models, namely Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10 Pro, and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max. The mobile phones are likely to sport a punch-hole display and Mi 11-like camera module at the back. Redmi Note 10 series specifications are expected to be headlined by Snapdragon chipsets, 120Hz displays, 108MP camera, IP52 dust and water resistance rating, 5G connectivity, and 5,000+mAh battery with fast charging solution.

Realme GT

For the better part, the phone was known as Realme Race. But, the company has confirmed it will come with the Realme GT moniker. The Realme mobile phone is all set to launch globally on March 4th with flagship-grade Snapdragon 888 SoC ticking at its core. Additionally, the handset will arrive with a 120Hz Super AMOLED display, stainless steel VC cooling system, 64MP AI triple camera system, and a dual-tone Vegan Leather design in addition to a standard finish.

Realme GT specifications may also include a 5,000mAh battery with 65W or 125W fast charging support, 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, 5G support, Wi-Fi 6, and Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0. The Realme GT 5G price is teased to start under Rs 2,999 (approx Rs 34,000).

Samsung Galaxy A32

Samsung Galaxy A32 4G

Samsung has announced the Galaxy A32 launch in India, and it will most likely be in March. The handset has already been introduced globally, with 5G capable MediaTek Dimensity 720 SoC onboard. In the country, the Samsung mobile phone is expected to have a 4G chipset, which will be compensated by a 90Hz sAMOLED display as opposed to a 60Hz screen on the global variant. The Samsung Galaxy A32 will also come with 64MP quad rear cameras and a 5000mAh battery that is rated to offer up to 20 hours of video playback.

Vivo S9

Vivo S9 will go official in China on March 3rd. The upcoming S-series offering from the brand is said to focus on design and selfie camera. The phone is expected to feature dual selfie cameras, with a 44MP primary sensor, in a bathtub-like notch atop the display. The Vivo S9 is also rumoured to be the world’s first smartphone with MediaTek Dimensity 1100 chipset under the hood. Other specs of the phone could be as follows: 6.5-inch 90Hz FHD+ AMOLED display, a 4,000mAh battery, 33W fast charging solution, and 64MP camera at the back. 

ASUS ROG Phone 5

ASUS ROG Phone 5 India launch has been scheduled for March 10th. The gaming-focused handset will be the successor to last year’s ROG Phone 3. It’ll most likely be powered by the Snapdragon 888 SoC coupled with up to 16GB RAM. ASUS ROG Phone 5 specs could also sport a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, a 6,000mAh battery with 65W fast-charging support, and triple rear cameras with a 64MP primary sensor.

The ROG Phone 5 will come with a dedicated button around the back of the phone to activate gaming mode, as per rumours. The company is also rumoured to launch a Snapdragon 870 SoC-powered ASUS ROG Phone 5 Strix edition phone at the event. The handsets will be Flipkart exclusive and are likely to be accompanied by gaming accessories.

Realme 8 series

Realme 8 series launch in India has been teased by the brand’s country head Madhav Sheth. The handset could go official in March in the country. At least one of the Realme 8 models, if not all, will feature a 108MP camera, which the company will showcase at its camera-centric event on March 2nd. The specifications of the phone remains a mystery at the moment, but what we do know is that it’ll flaunt a unique new rear camera layout and the “Dare to Leap” branding. Realme 8 series may also sport a glossy gradient blue colour finish, around the back.

Vivo X60 series

Vivo X60 series launch in markets outside China has long been expected, and if rumours are anything to go by this could happen in March. As per a report by 91mobiles, the X60 smartphones will go official in India by the end of March. The company is likely to launch all three mobile phones in the lineup, namely Vivo X60, Vivo X60 Pro, and Vivo X60 Pro+ in the country.

The Vivo X60 Pro+, as you may know, is a flagship with Snapdragon 888 SoC under the hood, quad rear cameras with a 50MP primary sensor, and 55W fast charging support. The X60 Pro comes with 48MP quad rear cameras, Exynos 1080 SoC, 33W fast charging solution. Both phones pack a 120Hz refresh rate AMOLED screen, 32MP selfie camera, and 4,000mAh+ battery. Vivo X60 specifications remain largely similar to the Pro model. The difference is that it lacks the dedicated telephoto lens at the back. 

Moto G10 and G30

Moto G10 and Moto G30 could launch in India in the first week of March, as per Indian tipster Mukul Sharma. The latest Moto G-series mobile phones were announced globally in Europe in February. The Moto G10 and Moto G30 specifications are said to be the same as the global variants. The G10 may tout a 6.5-inch HD+ screen, Snapdragon 460 SoC, 48MP quad cameras, and a 5,000mAh battery. The Moto G30, on the other hand, could sport a 90Hz 6.5-inch HD+ display, Snapdragon 662 SoC, 64MP quad cameras, and a 5,000mAh battery with a 20W fast charging solution.

OnePlus 9 series

OnePlus may launch its flagship earlier than last year. Rumours are rife that the upcoming OnePlus 9 series will be unveiled in March. There are said to be three models in the lineup, which will reportedly be dubbed as OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro, and OnePlus 9 Lite/ 9E/ 9R. The regular OnePlus 9 specifications are expected to include an FHD+ 120Hz display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, 8GB RAM, 65W fast charging support, and 48MP quad cameras.

OnePlus 9 Pro may sport a QHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 888 chipset, 65W fast charging support, and a Hasselblad-branded camera system that includes a 48MP primary sensor and 64MP wide-angle lens. As for the OnePlus 9 Lite/ 9E/ 9R, it may ship with a 6.5-inch 90Hz FHD+ display, Snapdragon 690 chipset, 64MP camera, and a 5,000mAh battery.

iQOO Neo 5 and iQOO 7

iQOO is allegedly gearing up to launch two new mobile phones in India, called iQOO Neo 5 and iQOO 7. These will be the first phone from the brand since the launch of iQOO 3 last year. iQOO Neo 5 and iQOO 7 Indian variants were recently spotted on Geekbench. The Neo 5 is expected to be a mid-range offering with sub-flagship Snapdragon 870 SoC under the hood, a 120Hz FHD+ AMOLED screen, 8MP selfie camera, Android 11, up to 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, and 48MP triple rear cameras.

The iQOO 7 will be a flagship powered by Snapdragon 888 SoC. The phone is also expected to sport a 120Hz refresh rate display, 16MP selfie camera, 4,000mAh battery, 120W fast charging solution, 48MP triple rear cameras, and up to 256GB storage.

OPPO Find X3 series

The flagship OPPO Find X3 series will finally see the light of the day on March 11th. The series, comprising OPPO Find X3 Lite, Find X3 Neo, and Find X3 Pro, has been the subject of leaks and rumours since the start of the year. Most recently, the European price of OPPO Find X3 series was leaked. The lineup could be priced starting around Rs 40,000.

OPPO Find X3 series specifications will reportedly be headlined by Snapdragon 888 SoC and 90Hz/ 120Hz refresh rate display. The Find X3 Lite could be powered by Snapdragon 756G SoC and sport 64MP quad rear cameras, 32MP selfie sensor, 4,300mAh cell, and 65W charging. The Find X3 Pro is likely to employ a 50MP triple rear camera setup and a slightly bigger 4,300mAh battery. OPPO Find X3 Neo specifications haven’t leaked yet.

Samsung Galaxy A52 and A72

Samsung may unveil its mid-range A-series smartphones, Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 in March. The support pages of the handsets have already gone live, and as per a report by 91mobiles, the Samsung mobile phones will go official in India by mid-March. The Samsung Galaxy A52 may sport a 6.5-inch sAMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and Snapdragon 720G SoC coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage under the hood.

The phone could be driven by a 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast charging support, and a quad-rear camera setup. Rumours also say that a 5G variant of the phone could be launched with the Snapdragon 750G on-board. Talking about Samsung Galaxy A72, it’s rumoured to pack a 6.7-inch 90Hz AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 750G on the 5G variant, Snapdragon 720G on the 4G variant, and a quad rear camera setup. The phone is said to get a 32-megapixel selfie camera and a 5,000mAh battery.

In addition to these, the OPPO F19 series, Vivo V21, Mi 11 Ultra, and Mi 11 Lite launches are also expected in March. The F19 is expected to be the latest F-series offerings from the brand. The handset was previously expected to launch in February, but that didn’t happen. The OPPO F19 specifications remain a mystery at the moment. The same is the case for Vivo V21 whose specifications and other details such as price and design are still under the wraps. As for the Mi 11 Ultra and Mi 11 Lite, they are said to be upgraded and downgraded versions of Mi 11, respectively.
