Samsung Galaxy A52 4G launch seems imminent as phone appears on FCC website

Highlights
  • Samsung Galaxy A52 4G is expected to pack a 4,500mAh battery
  • Samsung Galaxy A52 is expected to come in both 4G and 5G variants
  • The handset has been spotted on multiple certification websites including TENAA, Bluetooth SIG, and the FCC

Samsung Galaxy A52 launch date could be getting closer as we have discovered the phone on the FCC website this week. This comes after the device was recently spotted on TENAA and Bluetooth SIG websites. On the Bluetooth SIG website, the 4G model of the handset was spotted alongside Samsung Galaxy A32 4G and Samsung Galaxy A72 4G. The listings suggest that all three phones will support Bluetooth 5.0. On the other hand, the FCC listing has revealed that the Samsung Galaxy A52 specs will include the same battery as the one in the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, which suggests the upcoming phone will pack a 4500mAh battery.

The FCC listing shows that the Samsung Galaxy A52 4G will ship with an EP-TA200 charger, which means that it will offer 15W fast charging. For those of you who were hoping for faster charging speeds, you might have to go for the 5G variant of the handset instead. While the new certifications do not reveal a lot about the upcoming phone from the South Korean brand, thanks to previous leaks we have a fair idea of what we can expect from the Samsung Galaxy A52 4G.

Samsung Galaxy A52 4G specifications

The Samsung Galaxy A52 4G is expected to come with a 6.46-inch display with a centre-positioned punch-hole for the selfie camera. The 4G model of Samsung Galaxy A52 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 720 SoC coupled with at least 6GB RAM and up to 256GB storage, which could be further expandable via microSD card.

In the camera department, the Samsung Galaxy A52 4G has been tipped to feature quad-cameras at the back with a 64MP primary sensor, likely paired with an ultra-wide-angle lens, a depth unit, and a macro sensor.
