Samsung Galaxy A12 India launch is scheduled for later this week, according to a report from MySmartPrice in association with noted industry insider Ishan Agarwal. In-line with this timeline, the handset’s support page has gone live on Samsung’s India website. The listing confirms there will be a 4GB RAM version and SM-A125F/DS model number. The Samsung Galaxy A12 originally launched back in November alongside the Galaxy A02s. It will come as a successor to the Samsung Galaxy A11 and key Galaxy A12 specifications include a 6.5-inch HD+ TFT display, MediaTek Helio P35, quad-cameras, Android 10 OS, among others. It shouldn’t be long before more details surface online.

Samsung Galaxy A12 specifications
To recall the Samsung Galaxy A12 specifications, the handset sports a 6.5-inch HD+ Infinity V display with a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 SoC paired with PowerVR GE8320 GPU, up to 6GB RAM, and 128GB storage that is further expandable via a microSD card. The phone runs on Android 10-based OneUI custom skin on top. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging and data sync.
Moving to optics, the Samsung Galaxy A12 has quad cameras at the back consisting of a 48MP primary sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP depth sensor for portrait shots, and a 2MP macro unit for close up shots. There is an 8MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security and a 5,000mAh battery with 15W fast-charging support.
Samsung Galaxy A12 price in India (expected)
Samsung Galaxy A12 price is set at EUR 179 (around Rs 15,800) for the 4GB/64GB model and EUR 199 (approx Rs 17,600) for the 6GB/128GB storage model. The phone comes in Black, Blue, White, and Red colour options. The Galaxy A12 price in India should be much lower, possibly around Rs 10,000 given the specs on offer. We should learn about the official India price when the phone goes official later this week.
