The Mi Portable Bluetooth Speaker is expected to be one of the two new audio products that Xiaomi plans to launch in India on February 22nd at 12 PM. A tweet from the company on Thursday mentions ‘Audio on the Fly’, which suggests the device will be portable, and the teaser image all but confirms it will be the Mi Portable Bluetooth Speaker. The product is already available globally and is now finding its way to the Indian market. It has a rectangular design with a power button, volume rocker, change track, and more. Mi Portable Bluetooth Speaker has a 16W sound output and connects via Bluetooth 5.0. Much like most portable speakers, it has an IPX7 rating for water resistance and offers true stereo sound.

Mi Portable Bluetooth Speaker specifications

The Mi Portable Bluetooth Speaker has dual sound modes: normal and deep bass and there’s also an aux-in port to connect external speakers. The 2,600mAh battery is claimed to offer up to 13 hours on a single charge with 50 percent volume. The portable speaker takes four hours to charge completely. It has a signal-to-noise ratio of 70dB, a frequency range of 80Hz to 20KHz, and can cover up to 15 meters distance. It measures 213 x 74 x 74mm and supports SBC as well as AAC audio codecs. The portable speaker should be made available in multiple colours.
