Samsung is readying a new fast-charging adapter, 91mobiles has exclusively learned from industry sources. We also managed to get hold of the images that show the new charger in its full glory. The charger has an LED indicator, which will likely show when it is connected to a phone or when charging is complete. The USB port’s placement has also been changed. We can see the words ‘Adaptive Fast Charging’ etched on the side, which is a smart solution from Samsung that can automatically stop charging in order to prolong battery life. It is unclear at this moment whether we’re looking at an 18W, 25W, or a higher fast charger.

Our sources tell us the new Samsung charger could come bundled with future Galaxy A-series phones, possibly the upcoming Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72. Unfortunately, other features of the upcoming Samsung’s charging brick remain a mystery at the moment.
Separately, Samsung Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 phones are on the verge of launching. Thanks to various leaks, we know quite a deal about the premium mid-range phones. Both the handsets are expected to arrive with a centre-positioned punch-hole design for the selfie camera, a quad-camera setup at the back arranged in a rectangular module, and possibly an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. The Galaxy A52 will be available in Awesome Black, Awesome Violet, Awesome Blue, and Awesome White colour options. The South Korean giant is seemingly readying both 4G and 5G variants of the Galaxy A52 and A72 and their availability will vary depending on the market.
As for the specifications, the Samsung Galaxy A72 is said to sport a 6.7-inch FHD+ display. While the A52 could get a slightly smaller 6.5-inch screen. The 4G variant of both the models could come with Snapdragon 720G SoC, the 5G variant may ship with the Snapdragon 750G paired with at least 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Both the phones are likely to boot Android 11 OS with OneUI 3.0 custom skin on top. The Samsung Galaxy A52 and A72 are expected to have quad-cameras at the back, possibly with a 64MP primary sensor accompanied by an ultra-wide-angle lens, a macro lens, and a depth sensor. Both are said to pack large batteries with fast charging support.
