Samsung Galaxy Tab M62, which has been doing rounds of the rumour mill quite a bit lately, has now surfaced on Geekbench. The device has been spotted on the benchmarking site with model number SM-M625F and specifications similar to the alleged Samsung Galaxy F62 smartphone. Per the Geekbench listing, the Samsung Galaxy Tab M62 specifications will include the Exynos 9825 chipset (that was used in the Galaxy Note10 and Galaxy Note10+ a couple of years ago), paired with 6GB RAM and Android 11 OS. The octa-core chipset — with two custom M4 cores (2.73 GHz), two Cortex-A75 cores (2.4 GHz) and four A55s (2.0 GHz) — is made using the power-efficient 7nm manufacturing process and features a Mali-G76 MP12 GPU and a built-in LTE modem.
Samsung Galaxy Tab M62 benchmark scores are as follows: 786 points in the single-core test and 1,995 points in the multi-core test. The Samsung Galaxy Tab M62 launch seems to be just around the corner. 91mobiles exclusively reported that its production began in India last month itself. We also revealed the upcoming tablets’ design, which will include a punch-hole screen.
The first tablet in the company’s M-series lineup was recently spotted on Wi-Fi alliance, with dual-band Wi-Fi support, as well. From FCC documents we know that the tablet or phablet will have a massive 7,000mAh battery with 25W fast-charging support. The device is expected to feature 256GB of onboard storage. Going by the nomenclature, the Samsung Galaxy M62 price will be below those of the existing Galaxy S and A-series tablets.
