Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra were launched at the Unpacked 2021 event on Wednesday, January 14th. Samsung’s newest flagship smartphones are loaded with high-end specifications and features and the price tags reflect the same. The Samsung Galaxy S21 prices in India begin at Rs 69,999 for the standard Galaxy S21, whereas the base variant of the top-of-the-line Galaxy S21 Ultra variant will set you back by Rs 1,05,999. All three smartphones feature a similar design with a distinctive rear camera module that bleeds into the corners. The key Samsung Galaxy S21 and S21+ specifications include the 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED displays, triple rear cameras, and up to 256GB storage. The Ultra model kicks things up a notch with a large display and 120Hz refresh rate at QHD+ resolution, quad cameras on the back, and up to 512GB storage and 16GB RAM.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 price in India for the base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is Rs 69,999, while the model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at Rs 73,999. The Samsung Galaxy S21+ price in India, on the other hand, starts at Rs 81,999 for the variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, with the 8GB RAM and 256GB variant available for Rs 85,999. The most premium smartphone in the line-up, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra prices are Rs 1,05,999 and Rs 1,16,999 for the 12GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB variants, respectively. The smartphones are set to go on sale in India starting January 29th via Flipkart and Samsung’s official e-store.

Samsung Galaxy S21 series specifications and features

The India variants of the Samsung Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra are powered by the company’s new Exynos 2100 chipset, which features an integrated 5G modem and 40 percent faster graphics compared to the previous generation Exynos 900.
In other markets, like the US, the three smartphones are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. The phones include a microSD card slot for storage expansion. Additionally, the Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra are fueled by a 4,000mAh, a 4,800mAh, and a 5,000mAh battery respectively.

The vanilla Samsung Galaxy S21 sports a 6.2-inch FHD+ Infinity-O Dynamic AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on top, a 120Hz refresh rate, 1300 nits peak brightness, and 421ppi pixel density. The Plus model has a 6.7-inch FHD+ Infinity-O Dynamic AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass Victus on top, a 120Hz refresh rate, 1300nits peak brightness, and pixel density of 394ppi. Lastly, the Ultra features a bigger 6.8-inch WQHD+ Infinity-O Dynamic AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 515ppi pixel density, and a peak brightness of 1600nits.

All three smartphones run Android 11 with Samsung’s OneUI 3.0 custom skin on top. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. On the imaging front, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra features a quad-camera setup at the back, comprising of a 108MP primary camera with OIS and a 10x optical “super” telephoto sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and two 10MP lenses. The Galaxy S21 and S21+ on the other have triple sensors at the back with a 12MP primary camera with OIS, a 64MP telephoto lens with 3X hybrid optical zoom, and a 12MP ultra-wide angle sensor.
