Shortly after the Motorola Capri Plus got greenlit by the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards), yet another Motorola smartphone, codenamed Ibiza, has appeared on the Wi-Fi Alliance website (via MySmartPrice) with model number XT2137-1. The certification tells us that the Motorola Ibiza specs will include Android 11 out of the box and support for 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi networks. While this particular listing doesn’t tell us a whole lot about other Motorola Ibiza specifications, we know quite a bit about the device thanks to an earlier report. The device is expected to be a low-cost 5G-ready smartphone and will likely be launched with a different monicker.

Expected Motorola Ibiza specifications include a Snapdragon 480 chipset, which is Qualcomm’s most affordable 5G-ready mobile SoC yet. The processor currently powers phones like the Vivo Y31s and OPPO A93 5G. While the screen size is unknown, Motorola Ibiza is tipped to offer a 90Hz refresh rate and an HD+ (720 x 1,600) resolution. The phone is also expected to ship with 4GB of RAM and 128GB storage out of the box.
Moving on to the cameras, the Motorola Ibiza is expected to come with three sensors at the back – a 48MP primary lens, a 5MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. Its 13MP selfie camera will be housed in a waterdrop-style notch on the screen. Lastly, the Motorola Ibiza will come with a 5,000mAh battery. At this point, it is too early to speculate the Motorola Ibiza launch date. One can only hope that it is sooner rather than later, as it looks promising on paper.
