The handset is IP53-rated splash-proof and employs a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security. The Moto G 5G, on the other hand, has a rather plain looking rear panel that bears a squarish camera module at the top left corner and centre-aligned fingerprint scanner. The phone is IP52-rated water-repellent.

The phone runs Android 10-based MIUI skin out of the box to take care of the software side of things and houses a 4,820mAh battery that supports 33W fast-charging. The Moto G 5G also packs Snapdragon 750G SoC under the hood, paired with only 6GB RAM. The phone is equipped with 128GB onboard storage that is further expandable up to 1TB using a microSD card. Verdict

The Mi 10i clearly has an edge over Moto G 5G in terms of specifications. The handset comes with a high refresh rate, 108MP quad rear cameras, and 33W fast charging solution.
