OPPO Reno5 Lite 5G, which would be the fourth handset in the series, could be launching soon and join the Reno5 series. An OPPO phone with model number PELM00 has been spotted on China’s 3C website revealing it will come with a charger that has a model number VC56HACH, which is said to be the 30W VOOC 4.0 brick. While the marketing name of the phone isn’t clear, MyFixGuide citing sources claim the handset could be the OPPO Reno5 Lite 5G. After the vanilla OPPO Reno5, Reno5 Pro, and Reno5 Pro+, the company seems to be working on a lite model and this may have stripped-down specifications to make it affordable. This falls in line with a recent report that said OPPO is planning to have a Reno5 series model in all price points. Unfortunately, not much else is known about the Reno5 Lite 5G at the moment.

Separately, OPPO Reno5 Pro 5G had received BIS certification with the model number CPH2201, hinting the launch could be soon. The company had already confirmed the phone will launch in the country, while there’s no word about the vanilla Reno5 and Reno5 Pro+ availability at the moment. The OPPO Reno5 Pro 5G sports a 6.55-inch FHD+ OLED panel with 90Hz refresh rate, punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera, and curved edges. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ SoC paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The phone runs on Android 11 OS with ColorOS custom skin on top.
Moving to cameras, the OPPO Reno5 Pro 5G has four rear cameras at the back comprising of a 64MP primary camera aided by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP portrait lens. There is a 32MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats and an in-display fingerprint scanner for security. A 4,350mAh battery with 65W fast-charging support powers the phone. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and USB Type-C port. The handset measures 159.7×73.2×7.6mm mm and weighs 173 grams. The Reno5 Pro 5G price in China is set at RMB 3,399 (approx Rs 38,300) for the 8GB/128GB variant and RMB 3,799 (around Rs 42,800) for the 12GB/256GB model.
