Mi 10i India launch date was announced just a few days ago and now Amazon has confirmed the phone’s availability through the e-commerce website. The Mi 10i India launch is set for January 5th, 2021 and the Amazon India page teases key specifications, including the 108MP quad rear cameras and a high screen refresh rate. The phone is expected to be a rebranded Mi 10T Lite that launched globally a few months ago. Separately, Mi 10i RAM and colour variants have been leaked by a Twitter user, but we cannot confirm the authenticity of this leak.

The Twitter user posted a screenshot that reveals that the Mi 10i will come in 6GB and 8GB RAM options along with 128GB internal storage. Additionally, the handset will be available in Pacific Sunrise, Midnight Black, and Atlantic Blue colours. While the colour options remain the same as the Mi 10T Lite, the 6GB RAM option is new.

Mi 10i specifications
If the Mi 10i is indeed a rebranded Mi 10T Lite, it could be the first smartphone in the country to sport the Snapdragon 750G SoC under the hood. The 5G capable chipset is a new mid-range mobile chip from Qualcomm. The Mi 10i may also highlight a 6.67-inch FHD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate and a hole-punch design. The phone could house a 4,820mAh battery with 33W fast charging support and run Android 10-based MIUI 12 out of the box.
For photography, the Mi 10i is confirmed to sport four rear cameras housed in a circular module. However, the model coming to India will feature a 108MP primary sensor as opposed to the 64MP camera on the Mi 10T Lite. The 108MP sensor will most likely be paired with a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth module. That’s the only major difference expected between the two phones. For selfies and video chats, the Mi 10i is expected to house a 16MP front-facing camera.
