vivo has launched the V19 in Nepal in July and now has launched its successor – named vivo V20 in the Nepali market today. The company has been teasing the launch of vivo V20 Series via its official social media handles for a couple of weeks.
Though there are two more devices in the lineup, vivo has only launched the vivo V20 in Nepal for now. The company might launch the vivo V20 SE and vivo V20 Pro in Nepal anytime soon. More details should surface in the coming weeks.

Vivo V20 Specifications and Features Overview
vivo V20 boasts a 6.44″ FHD+ AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels at a 20:9 aspect ratio. Whereas, the contrast ratio of the panel is listed at 2000000:1.
The vanilla V20 has a waterdrop style notch and sports a 2.5D curved design and has a thickness of around 7.38mm. Similarly, the smartphone weighs around 172 grams.
vivo V20 also features AG Matte Glass back panel, which is chemically etched to reduce scratches to make it feel even better on hand. The company has added an AF coating on the top as well to make the panel less prone to fingerprints and smears.
Under the hood, vivo 20 comes with a gaming-focused mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset that supports limited features of Qualcomm’s Elite Gaming Technology. The handset is available in a single memory configuration – 8GB RAM paired with 128GB of internal storage.
To further boost the performance, vivo has also updated the multi-turbo engine with ART++ Turbo. However, we don’t get to see the Vapor Chamber Colling system that is in the vivo V20 Pro.
At the rear, we get to see the more premium vivo X50 Pro-inspired rectangular camera module that houses the vivo V20 triple camera setup. The camera specs include a 64MP (f/1.89) primary camera accompanied by an 8MP (f/2.2) multi-function camera that is capable of taking wide-angle with FOV of 108-degree. Users can also use it to take bokeh and macro shots of objects as close as 2.5cm.
The third senor is a 2MP (f/2.4) monochrome sensor. The phone uses it for the Art Portrait Video in which the background is turned into black and while the subject still remains in colors. The rear camera supports Super Night Mode, Smart Zoom, Tripod mode, and Motion Autofocus.
On the front, unlike the vivo V19 dual-camera setup, the V20 feature a single 44MP Eye AutoFocus selfie camera with the ability to focus from 15cm. Users can record 4K videos using the selfie camera as well. Other supported features include Steadiface Selfie Video, Slo-Mo video, Dual-View Video, and multi-style portrait.
Like the Pro variant, the vanilla vivo V20 comes with a decent battery of 4,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. It ships with Funtouch OS 11 based on Android 11. Also, it has an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometrics as well.
