realme Buds Q: realme’s Bean-Shaped TWS Earphone Launched in Nepal

Already selling in China, India, and Europe, realme has finally launched its first bean-shaped TWS earphone — realme Buds Q in Nepal. It is the third pair of TWS earphones from realme in Nepal after the Buds Air and Buds Air Neo. The Buds Q is designed by Hermès co-designer José Lévy and come with advertised 20 hours of combined battery life and is IPX4 certified to withstand water splashes.

realme Buds Q is the first product co-created by both realme Design Studio and José Lévy. And more realme AIoT products designed by José Lévy is to be expected.

The realme Buds Q surface adopts 9μm spark pattern technology to achieve the advanced frosted texture, which is excellent in touch and fingerprint-prof. The company also claims that the TWS ergonomics design could fit into the ears and offers a more comfortable experience.

The realme Buds Q is shipped with a customized R1Q chip and features Gaming Mode with a low latency of 119ms, similar to the wired headsets.

It adopts a 10mm large Dynamic Bass Boost Driver together with a unique polymer composite diaphragm composed of PEEK&PU that can emit clear and mid-range treble and PU that emits thick and elastic bass.

Simultaneously, realme Buds Q supports high-quality AAC audio encoding, with higher fidelity and better listening experience.

Like the realme Buds Air and realme Buds Air Neo, the Buds Q also supports touch controls. Moreover, you can answer/hang up the call, switch music, or wake up the Breeno voice assistant at a button’s touch. You can also use the realme Link App to customize operating functions and upgrade the system firmware.

The TWS can be recognized by the smartphone once you open the charging box, and the shortest time it takes to be matched is merely 4.2s. The earphones can also be turned off as soon as you put the earphones back in the box and shut down the box’s lid.

It supports a 3-hour call or 4.5 hours of music playback. With the charging case, it has a long battery life of 20 hours. The Buds Q case supports fast wired charging – there’s no wireless charging, unlike the realme Buds Air. The charging case is also outlined with lines of different curves and allows a good hand feel.

Each bud has a 40mAh built-in battery and weighs just 3.6 grams. With the large 400mAh battery in the charging case, the whole set only weighs 35g and is portable.
