Honor, a smartphone brand owned by Huawei Technologies has launched a new affordable smartphone, the Honor 8S Pro in Nepal market. The smartphone looks identical to Honor 8A Pro that made its debut in July. The internals are different, although both devices feature a dew-drop notch style and dual-shade back panel.
The Honor 8S Pro will be available in a single storage variant of 3GB RAM and 64GB internal memory. Here are all the details on specifications, features, price, and availability of Honor 8S Pro in Nepal.
Honor 8S Pro Specifications & Features:
The Honor 8S Pro is basically the standard variant of the international Honor 8S 2020 Edition that was introduced in the UK in June this year. The device as we mentioned looks a replica of the Honor 8A Pro handset with a dual-textured rear panel. But unlike the Honor 8A Pro’s flat back cover, the Honor 8S Pro has tapered edges at the back and looks a bit bulky. Moreover, it doesn’t provide a tangible fingerprint sensor. The body is built out of plastic and has a plastic frame surrounding the perimeters.
But let’s talk about what the new Honor 8S Pro has to offer. First up, it has a 5.71-inch HD FullView dewdrop display. The front panel comes with a resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels and a 19:9 aspect ratio. Powering the phone is a nearly two-year-old MediaTek Helio A22 entry-level mobile platform. The quad-core processor has a clock speed of up to 2.0GHz and is paired with IMG PowerVR GE8320 for graphic rendition.
The dual-SIM support device comes with a battery backup of 3020mAh. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie-based EMUI 9 OS. Honor 8S Pro offers a dedicated microSD slot that has expandable memory support of up to 512GB.
As for imaging sensors, the Honor 8S Pro equip a single lens at the back sporting an 8MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture. It’s a bit disappointing given that budget smartphones from rivals offer dual rear cameras (at least there’s portrait mode). Upfront, there’s a 5MP camera (f/2.2 aperture) that comes with an Intelligent beautification feature. The software provides facial recognition as well for unlocking the device.
The smartphone measures 147.13 x 70.78 x 8.45mm and weighs 146 grams. The phone comes three color shades- Blue, Black, and Gold.
